Frau Dorsch is an example of someone who helped Jews escape throughout the war. What I found interesting about this article was its mention of Nazis’ apathy towards Jewishness if they were somehow personally affiliated.
They always say “Hate the Group, But Love the Individual” when referring to southern-(United States) attitudes about black people during the days of segregation. I think that kind of applies here and elsewhere when you hear about Hitler giving his chauffeur an Aryan blood pass upon discovering that he was Jewish. Interesting stuff.
